Can a phone number save a life?

By | February 16, 2020

The sad passing of Caroline Flack RIP has brought attention to a number of societal issues that we often ignore or brush under the carpet. For a start we might look at the Crown Prosecution Service. Were they wrong to press ahead with a case that the victim wanted dropped? Then there is the media. Which is more sickening: the relentlessly hounding tabloid press coverage when she was alive, or the hypocritical headlines they print now she has passed away?

We can also consider Caroline herself. Did she consider seeking independent mental health support? Did any of her so-called celebrity allies ever point her in the direction of some of the teams of friendly voices that are there to help?

On this page we will look at some of the confidential phone lines that are open for members of the general public who are in distress.
