Whirlpool have a freephone product recall helpline 0800 316 1442 that you can phone if you have purchased a product that is on their product recall list.
On the 29th January 2020 the Whirlpool recall product list was updated to include Indesit and Hotpoint washing machines that were made between 2014 and 2018 with the following product numbers:
- WMFG 741 G UK
- WMAQC 641 PUK
- WMAQG 741 G UK
These washing machines have been identified as a potential fire hazard. If you have purchased on of these products then unplug the machine and phone the Whirlpool Product Recall number 0800 316 1442. Whirlpool will replace your product free of charge.
The phone number will connect you with the Whirlpool Customer Service helpline. A member of the team will be happy to help you organise your product recall and replacement.
If you have a new or used Hotpoint or Indesit washing machine made between 2014-2018 please check it has not been recalled – it may pose a fire risk.
