Coronavirus Helpline Northern Ireland: 0300 200 7885

Public Health Northern Ireland have set up a helpline for people who think they may be at risk of or may have contracted the Coronavirus. The helpline number is 0300 200 7885. This new number was announced during a Commitee for Health meeting at the Northern Ireland National Assembly.

This number was set up to assist concerned residents of Northern Ireland who have recently returned from a trip to places in Asia that have been effected by the Coronavirus. It is advised that any recent returnees from China or other heavily affected phone 0300 200 7885 instead of attending their GP practice. You should also phone this helpline if you develop a cough, shortness of breath or other similiar symptoms and have been exposed to someone with a confirmed case of coronavirus.

Coronavirus Affected Areas

China is the country of origin and has been the most badly affected of nations. The most badly affected area has been WuHan. If you have recently returned to Northern Ireland from a trip to China then you should contact the Coronavirus helpline in the event of developing any flu-like symptoms.

Other badly affected countries include Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore.
