The telephone number 0151 625 6739 is being used to make scam automated calls from HMRC. If you receive a message or phone call from this number then hang up and do not respond.
This number was reported on the 29th October 2020 for a bogus HMRC call suggesting a warrant had been issued for the arrest of a UK citizen. The message went on to advise that the recipient needs to ‘press 1’ in order to discuss this issue.
