On this occasion the site is called security.hsbc.payees-manager The site is designed to look like the real HSBC website so that the scammers feel confident in entering their personal and banking information.

In fact this website was only registered on the 28th October 2020. 

What should I do if I receive a scam HSBC text?

It is important that you do not click on any links included in a HSBC new payee scam text. If you like you can report to phishing@hsbc.co.uk, beyond that you should delete the message and block the number.
