Malta had its first Coronavirus case at the start of March 2020, since then there has been a steady increase in numbers. The country has also begun travel bans and restrictions from several European countries that have been more heavily effected.
In response to the Coronavirus outbreak the Maltese Government has increased the capacity of their 111 health advice helpline. The 111 helpline is currently manned by 50 operators, to cover the islands of Malta and Gozo.
At the same time they have started a quarantine helpline. The number for this is 214 11411 and you can use this number if you are self-quarantining and are running out of supplies.
