The UK telephone number +44 7366 880790 is being used by scammers to send fake HSBC texts. This number was reported on the 1st of November 2020 when a UK resident complained about receiving a scam login from a new device text. If you receive a message from this number then do not call back or click on any links.
The scam HSBC transaction alert message sent on the 1st November was as follows:

What is the link contained in this text?
This scam can only work if you click on the link contained in the message. The scammers hope that victims will be fooled by the message into clicking through the link. Anyone who does click through will be taken to a site called secure-mypayees(.)info. This secure-mypayees site is clearly not the real HSBC website. However, anyone who does end up on this site will find that it looks remarkably like the real HSBC website. It has been designed this way so that visitors will feel confident in inputting their personal and bank details.
In fact the secure-mypayees(.)info website was created on the 31st of October 2020. Anyone who puts their personal or banking information into this website will be at huge risk of fraud commited by scammers.
