A new helpline has been set up on Guernsey for residents of the island to get support regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. Phone 01481 756 938 if you begin to feel symptoms or are concerned because you have been in contact with a confirmed case. This is a clinical helpline and you can use it to request medical assistance or to get advice on how self-isolate successfully.

Lines to this number are open between 8am and 10 pm daily. So far Guernsey has had just one confirmed Coronavirus case, and this line is there to help residents protect themselves and their families. This number can also be used to get advice if you have an elderly relative or a know someone who is vulnerable due to an underlying medical condition.

    Hello
I wanted to get some advise regarding picking people up from the airport and would this mean having to self isolate for 14 days.
I am a taxi driver part time and part of my job is to pick people up from the airport. There has been nommention of bus or taxi drivers havinv to self isolate if they are pickingnpeople up from the airport. As from tomorrow however, if was to pick anyone up from the airport, would it be an expectation that I also have to self isolate for 14 days.

    Many thanks
