The telephone number +676 9990527 was reported as one number in a long line of calls a Twitter user received on the 23rd September from Tonga. All the numbers that he received calls from, including the number +676 99 90 527 were scam numbers.
The scammers tactic is to make a one-ring call to your mobile telephone. This is in the hope you will phone them back so they can direct you to their premium-rate telephone line. If you do return the call you will incur use charges on your network bill. Do not phone the number +676 9990527.
