Do not phone the number 0905 004 0320
The number above is part of a premium rate scam in which residents of the UK are targeted by scammers. The way this scam works is that a 0330 number is advertised on a page found on Google. The phone number is designed to mimic the HMRC number; pretending to represent the actual government department. When you call the 0330 number you are then provided with automated options, both of which re-direct to a premium rate 0905 number. In this case the full number is 0905 004 0320.
If you receive any kind of contact from a company that seems suspicious do not call back.
@HMRCcustomers I need help, called HMRC re tax and it has showed on the telephone bill as a premium number but dialled the 0300 number? Number showing is 0905 004 0320. Can you help?
