This number has been associated with a recent text in which scammers send a text imitating PayPal. Receivers of this text will also be presented with a message warning that there has been a new payment from your PayPal account. It will also include a link to a website where you can input your details to check the payment. Do not click on this link as it is an attempt by phishers to steal your personal details.
@AskPayPal just got a text on a UK mobile with as follows,
“PayPal:We have detected unusual activity on your account. Please follow the link to confirm your information https://t.co/kGEVrDDrq3” it came from +447947830034 , looks like a phishing text message.— steveuk260 (@steveuk260) September 15, 2020
