The telephone number 0288 1977 267 is being used to make scam Amazon Prime calls. The callers pretend they represent Amazon and their goal is to get access to your online banking. People who have received calls from the number 02881977267 have reported being left messages suggesting £79.99 has been taken out of their bank account for Amazon Prime membership. In order to cancel this transaction they are advised to press 1 on their keypad. The scammers then encourage potential victims to provide them with the login details for their online banking.
However this call is not from Amazon it is actually scammers looking to trick victims into sharing their personal and bank details.
