The telephone number 01332 552819 is being used as part of a malicious scam targeting UK citizens. Anyone who answers the phone to this scam number will be greeted by an automated message warning that they are under investigation for tax fraud. Victims will then be guided to discuss this further by pressing an automated option on their phone.
Anyone who follows these instructions will be re-directed to a premium rate phone line. Charges for speaking to this line will be astronomical. DO not answer and calls from this number. Instead you should report the number to HMRC.
