The telephone number 01204 558648 has been reported as a scam number that is being used to spoof calls from HMRC. The callers are ringing UK citizens warning them that a tax investigation is being carried out against them, they then warn that unless the victim presses 1 they will be arrested immediately. If you get any kind of communication from the number 01204 558648 then don’t respond. Most importantly do not press any of the automated options on your phone.
