Smarmore Castle clinic was opened by Peter and Ann McCann, the founders of Castle Craig Hospital, in November 2015. Smarmore replicates the Castle Craig recovery model. The focus is on recovery through the 12 step program with the support of group and individual counselling and a variety of health and complementary therapies in a luxury rehab setting.
Smarmore House, a 14th century castle, is an ideal location for a luxury rehab. The castle dates back to the 14th century but now boasts many modern amenities such as an indoor swimming pool and sauna that can help with the physical rehabilitation process.
It is a 22 bed residential rehab clinic where service users can detox from alcohol or drugs and then enter an effective and proven rehab program that will help them achieve long term sobriety.
