Winsor College has a dual purpose. Their first role, and the one for which they have the most students, is as a vocational college. Their vocational courses are for British or foreign students who are on benefits. Courses are designed to help students gain the skills and qualifications that will help them find a job. Examples of their courses include food and hygiene, ICT, and the test for settlement citizenship.
The other role that Winsor College have is to provide English courses to foreign students who are looking to study, do business or settle in the UK. Popular courses include IELTS, Business English and A1 English Language for spouse visa. They also provide ESOL courses to students living in Birmingham so they can improve their English to a level where they can use it at work.
