The Silverstone Museum is located on the A43, just 20 minutes from the M1 between Northampton and Oxford. The museum is open all year round, though you may want to phone in advance to check for seasonal variations. As well as seeing some F1 cars and gear up close, visitors will get to learn some of the engineering principles that keep these cars on the road. The museum is housed in an old RAF hangar and houses a host of bikes, classic cars and F1 replicas.
