The Los Gigantes area of Tenerife is so called because the town is built into the rocks next to the huge Los Gigantes cliffs. Indeed the cliffs stretch out into the ocean on one side of the town. On the other side and in front there is a beautiful stretch of stunning ocean. The town has a black sandy beach, although take care when swimming as it is quite rocky. The town has lots of bars, shops, a casino and several real estate companies. Royal Sun Resort is at the highest point, overlooking the town and the ocean. The hotel is loved by visitors for the friendly staff, excellent all you can eat dining options and stunning views of the blue ocean.

Royal Sun Resort does indeed have a self-service launderette including dryers. This question prompted us to have a deep dive into some of the facilities at the hotel.
Royal Sun Resort is a 5 storey hotel in Los Gigantes Tenerife. The ground floor does not have rooms but has a squash court, gym, imperial bar, a mini-market and launderette, including dryers. There is also a physical therapy business called Turbo Rehab, offering massage and physiotherapy.
On the first floor there are 24 rooms, the first three of which are the luxurious Royal Garden Suites. In the middle of the first floor there is a restaurant where the majority of the guests eat. This restaurant boasts a huge balcony with view over the ocean. A great place to enjoy the Tenerife sunset. Breakfast and dinner are included with most packages and dinner has themes such as international, Mexican, and Carary Islands cuisine. There is also a small playground to keep the kids entertained.
On the second floor there are another 23 rooms over two wings, divided by the upmarket Restaurant Aqua. The third floor has another 23 rooms as well as an outdoor swimming pool. The kids pool is located on the 4th floor, where there are another 23 rooms.
The 10 most luxurious rooms are located on the 5th floor. All rooms at Royal Sun Resort, Los Gigantes have a huge balcony with views of the ocean.
