Bear in mind that before you make a claim for PIP you will need to have been assessed by a doctor. Unless you have proof that your condition is affecting your ability to work or get around your claim for PIP will not be proceeded with. Get a PIP form if you have a terminal illness
If you have just been diagnosed with a terminal illness such as cancer, then you should get a PIP form. This will allow you to receive payments during time out of work, for example for chemo or radiotherapy. Not everyone with terminal cancer can get PIP, so phone the PIP team new claims number on 0800 917 2222 to find out if you are eligible.
