From the 1st of January 2022 the information line for the Health Service Executive (HSE) will change to 0818 22 44 78. This new number represents the first port of call for queries relating to medical cards, GP visit cards, Drugs Payment Scheme and Long Term Illness scheme.

For example if you are unable to reset your HSE medical card then phone the HSE 0818 22 44 78 line to get support.
