Who are the Curve Theatre?
The Curve is a theatre on Rutland Street that was designed by Uruguayan architect Rafael Vinoly. One of the highlights in their calendar is the annual New Work Festical which celebrates talent from around the West Midlands. This event takes place each year in the first couple of weeks of March.
In recent years the Curve have worked with a number of theatre production companies to create new stories and bring a new lease of life to older ones. For example in September 2022 they will host opening night of Shakespeare’s Othello. This new interpretation was brought about by a partnership between the Curve Theatre and Frantic Assembly.
