BT Numbers – Charges
Most of the following telephone contact details are either 0800 or 0845 numbers, there are also some 087 and 0808 numbers..
- 0800 – numbers are completely free to call from either landline or mobile telephones; calls to these numbers won’t even eat into your monthly free minutes allowance
- 0808 – numbers are also completely free of charge
- 0845 – calls to this number are charged up to 7 pence per minute plus an access charge set by your mobile phone provider. Or, if calling from a landline telephone, it is classed as a business rate number for which you will be charged at least 3 pence per minute.
- 087 – calls to these numbers from a mobile phone are charged up to 13 pence per minute, plus an access rate decided by your mobile phone provider. From a landline they are classed as a business rate number with charges from at least 3 pence per minute.
