About Bristol Rovers
Bristol Rovers are a League One football team who play their home games at the 11,000 capacity Memorial Stadium located in Horfield Bristol. The blue and white quarters of their home kit are a distinctive characteristic of the Bristol football scene. Although they have spent much of their history in the shadows of their local rivals Bristol city they have had some notable periods of success throughout their history.
Most notable was their 1989-90 team who clinched the third division championship with a 3-0 victory over City who finished second. Their best ever player is Geoff Bradford who stayed with Rovers throughout his career and played and scored once for England in his only cap against Finland on the 2nd of October 1955.

Bristol Rovers Football Club have a fundraising effort called the Helpline Scheme which is a subscription based membership club with benefits such as reductions on matchday tickets, and dicounts at the club shop.
