About the Birmingham Dental Hospital
Birmingham Dental Hospital is a huge NHS dental research and training centre attached to the university of Birmingham that offers free treatment for NHS patients. It is located in a luxurious, new building over 4 floors in Pebble Mill, that was built in 2016. The hospital was previously located in the centre of Birmingham next to the Children’s hospital.
It offers specialist treatment for customers with complicated enquiries that need long term treatment plans. Most of the work is done by students both graduate and postgraduate from Birmingham University’s Dentistry school, but all of the work is overseen by a clinician who helps the students come up with your dental treatment plan.
Much of the work involves restorative treatment and implants, which takes place on the specialist clinic on the second floor. There are also departments for emergency treatment and general treatment.
