Opened in September 2021, the Beijing resort is the 5th Universal Studios resort in the world. The resort boasts several rollercoasters including the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, a Harry Potter themed ride. Don’t forget to visit the Three Brooms restaurant during your visit to the Harry Potter section. The Jurassic Flyers ride is, of course, a part of the Jurassic Park section of the resort. Other roller coasters include the Decepticoaster and Loop-dee-doop-dee. The theme park is divided into seven themed sections including:
- Hollywood Future Waterworld (好来坞未来水世界）
- Jurassic World （侏罗纪世界）
- Kung Fu Panda Land （功夫熊猫盖世之地）
- The Magical World of Harry Potter (哈利破特的魔法世界）
- Transformers （变形金刚基地）
- Minion Paradise （小黄人乐园）
Each of these sections include a viewing area where film buffs can watch recreations of their favourite films. The resort is a great place to take the kids for a day out in Beijing.
As well as each of these themed sections they also have two resort hotels in the Sunrise Avenue section.
Beijing Universal Studios fees
For a one day trip there is a set fee of 315 Yuan for entry to the park and then there are no further fees for entry to the different sections of the park or the rides.

How to get to Universal Beijing
Universal Studios Resort Beijing is located in the Tongzhou District 通州区, visitors can get there by taking the Metro Line 7 (7号线) and getting off at the Universal Resort Station. The resort is the last stop for Metro Line 7 and the exit of the metro is very close to the park.. You can also get there by following the Batong Subway Line (八通线).
