Launched on the 15th September 2020 British Council English Online is an online English Language program. It is a premium product that is part of the British Council Adult Portfolio English language program. Classes are taught by professional teacher on the Zoom program.
British Council English Online currecntly has three products:
- English Online is a subscription service where the students can choose their own topic and inlcudes webinars. Class capacity is 10.
- English for Work is a 6/12/or 18 week course which prepares students for the workplace. There are no private classes, only group classes and class capacity is 15.
- IELTS Coach Private and group classes. Purchase credits for unlimited access to self-study material and live classes. This covers both Academic and General IELTS exams.
English Online
After joining English online students will be granted access to the portal, where they can choose from among the bank of over 200 fully-qualified British Council teachers. They can then go ahead and choose a theme for their course, indeed students have a huge role in managing their own curriculum and timetableing.
Before classes with the teacher there are several pre-class activities for students to complete.
Classes run 365 days a year and there are classes running every half-an-hour.
