From the 1st of January 2022 the Money and Budgeting Service (MABS) helpline number will be changing to 0818 07 2000. This is becuase the old 0761 number is being retired in line with COMREG guidance. The new 0818 MABS helpline number will be free to call from a landline or, if calling without a bundle, will be charged at a landline rate.
Residents of Ireland can phone the MAGS national helpline for mortgage or banking advice, as well as information on debt support. Lines to this number are open between 9am and 8pm Monday – Friday.
MABS Abhaile Scheme number – 0818 07 2000
Residents of Ireland who have qualified for the Abhaile scheme will be provided with free mortgage arrears support. This will include a consulation with a MABS expertsuch as a:
- Personal Insolvency Practitioner (PIP)
- Consultation solicitor
- Accountant
