What should I do if I get a Hermes Scam Text?
The most important thing is that you are able to recognise scam texts for what they are. There are a couple of red flags about this message. Firstly it is from a standard UK telephone number. Hermes would not be sending a message such as this from a standard UK mobile phone number.
Also the website is clearly not the genuine Hermes website. The Hermes website is either hermesworld.com or myhermes.co.uk. Also if there were a redelivery fee you would be made aware of it via a card put through your door on first attempt.
As soon as you get a message such as this you should either delete and block, or Report, Delete and Block.
If you choose to report you can do so by forwarding the message to 7726 which is the number on all networks for reporting spam and scam messages.
