The telephone number 0330 808 3582 has been reported in the UK as being a tool used by scammers. They claim to be calling from HSBC, but they are trying to sell insurance policies. It would seem they are either phishing or scamming for personal and banking details. Do not answer any calls from the number 03308083582.
This scam number was reported by a Twitter user on the 2nd of October 2020. if you receive a phishing or scam message regarding HSBC you can report at phishing@hsbc.co.uk
@HSBC_UK just received a call from this number: 03308083582 saying they were HSBC wanting totally to me about my life insurance policy. Unless someone took life insurance out on my behalf without me knowing this can’t be true but they did have my full name. Scam?
