The telephone number 0300 013 5000 is used by the NHS to send out Tract & Trace requests for you to self-isolate for a period of ten days. People who have downloaded the NHS app, or input their telephone number on a form will be contacted by the NHS on this number to let them know if have been in a public place at the same time as someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
If you receive a call from this number you may be asked some questions about who you have been in contact with over the last few days. This is so the NHS Track & Trace team can track down anyone else who may need to self-isolate, and minimise the spread of the virus.
