The telephone number 07507 886468 has recently been linked with a scam targeting HSBC Bank members. A text is sent from this number to potential victims warning them that a new payee was set on their account. It then directs the receiver to a malicious website, in this case hsbc.list-payments.co.uk. This site is designed to look like the real HSBC website to dupe victims into inputting their personal and bank details.
In fact this is a phishing scam and your personal and bank details will only be used for the purposes of fraud. Do not click on the link to this website.

What should I do if I get a message from 07507886468?
The most important thing is that you don’t click on the link. The only interaction you should have with this tweet is to forward to 7726m or HSBC@phishing.co.uk
If you have already been a victim of fraud from an interaction with this message then report to ICO.
